Synectic originated from the reorganisation of Atkinson Gibson in 2004, with heritage in Tasmania dating back to 1979. Gareth Atkins, now a Director, began his career as a trainee accountant with Atkinson Gibson in 1992. In 2013, Ben Coull joined as a Director, bringing over two decades of audit and business services expertise. Matt McConnell, also a Director, joined the Synectic team in 2017, boasting qualifications in Financial Planning and Accounting and two decades of experience in the financial services industry.
