One of the great successes working with owner, Peter Herbert, and office administrator, Shauna Illingworth, has been to drive joinerydotcom’s conversion to Xero in early 2014. With two divisions, joinerydotcom previously used two separate accounting files, but now their accounting has been streamlined and they can use divisional tracking categories in a single subscription. With the efficiencies gained through features like job costing, online quotes, invoicing and payroll, Xero has proven to be a great fit for their business.
Synectic have bundled services together for joinerydotcom: tax and accounting, advisory (including management reporting, regular meetings and tax planning) and software support. They now have a single monthly agreement, enabling them to know their costs and better manage cash flow. We work alongside the business owner and office administrator, communicating regularly, providing real-time advice and delivering day-to-day support for Xero and other ad-hoc queries.
