Continuing to lead the accounting profession with new CAANZ appointment

Synectic are proud to acknowledge director Ben Coull‘s appointment as the 2015-16 Chair of the Tasmanian Regional Council of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ).

Ben takes on this role at an exciting time, with the amalgamation of the two trans-Tasman chartered accounting bodies recently being bedded down. The new Chartered Accountants ANZ body has an ideal opportunity to look to the future and start to shape its priorities. Specifically, how it will deliver on the strategic pillars of relevance, reach and pre-eminence.

Ben’s appointment continues a strong tradition of leadership of the accounting profession by senior members of our firm. Former director Yvonne Rundle was previously Tasmanian Regional Chair in 2008-09. Former partner Rob Atkinson held the positions of State and National Chair of the Institute.
