With over 20 years of experience in auditing and financial analysis, Kirby has established herself as a leader in the industry, ensuring financial compliance and integrity across a diverse range of industries, including health, aged care, education, manufacturing, aquaculture, agriculture, and Local Government.

Previously an Audit manager at Synectic, Kirby was away for 8 years where she spent time in senior leadership roles with major Tasmanian and Big 4 firms. Returning to Synectic as a Principal, she plays a pivotal leadership role and strengthens our audit team’s ability to meet the needs of our growing client base. Known for her strategic approach to audits, Kirby continually seeks innovative ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while upholding the highest standards of quality.

Kirby’s leadership extends beyond her professional roles. She has served as the Chairperson and Treasurer of a local Catholic School Board, demonstrating her commitment to community service and education. Additionally, she is a Regional Councillor for the Tasmanian Council of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), where she actively contributes to the governance and strategic direction of the accounting profession within the region.

Outside of her professional life, Kirby enjoys camping and traveling abroad with her family, reflecting her love for adventure and new experiences.
