Celebrating lasting relationships at Synectic
In 2019, three of our valued staff celebrated a combined 45 years with Synectic! Thank you and congratulations to Naomi, Kim and Vaughn.
Naomi Close (Administration Manager) – 20 years:
Naomi specialised in accounting, taxation, audit and business advisory services before taking on the Administration Manager role. She now holds responsibility for our office accounting and management and leads our dynamic administration team.
Over the past 20 years we’ve seen Naomi complete her Chartered Accountant qualification, travel, marry and become a mother of three. A great friend to staff and many of our clients, Naomi is the master of balancing work and life, and we count on her for her cool, calm leadership.
Kim Murray (Client Manager) – 15 years:
In her 15 years with us, Kim has held various roles, including secretary, financial planning administrator, and personal assistant, before joining our specialist SMSF team in 2009.
We value Kim as our quiet achiever. She is deeply knowledgeable, adaptable and someone we can always count on. We admire her devotion to her extended family and value her mentorship, friendship and support.
Vaughn Whish-Wilson (Client Manager) – 10 years:
Vaughn is a talented and knowledgeable accountant with skills in financial reporting, cloud accounting, tax and business advisory services. He is valued by his clients who come from a wide range of industries, including building and construction, agriculture, aquaculture, legal and consultancy.
When he joined Synectic 10 years ago, Vaughn brought with him a great reputation in the Devonport community. A fabulous friend and mentor – and always quietly competitive – it has been a joy to watch Vaughn complete his Chartered Accountant qualification, build deep relationships with his clients, and grow into a family man.
